Home Business Tips – Are You Making Things Harder Than They Need to Be?

Recently I was riding on the rapid transit train into downtown Vancouver during rush hour.  I sat beside a middle aged slender man who was taking up a little more than one seat.  As I sat down I expected him to move over a little bit, he did not.  I settled myself in, got out my book and glasses, still he did not move.  I was thinking to myself that this was going to be an uncomfortable ride when a seat opposite me opened up.  I moved.  Another man sat beside the middle aged slender man I had been sitting beside.  Now instead of having a petite woman sitting beside him it was a large man about 6′ 4″ with very broad shoulders.  Now the slender man didn’t have a chance, he had to move.  As we got closer and closer to the city he was getting squished into a smaller and smaller space.  It was obvious by the look on his face that he was very uncomfortable.I watched this happen during the ride and I thought to myself how many people don’t adjust to the small things that happen in their life and end up paying a big price.  Instead of moving just a small bit this middle aged slender man ended up getting squished into a very small space. Are you adjusting to the situations in your home based business?  Many people do not recognize when a small shift is required.  When you start to feel uncomfortable it is time for a shift.  Just like when you are sitting for too long in one spot and your foot goes to sleep, it is time for a shift.Nothing in life is so hard that you can’t make it easier by the way you take it. Ellen GlasgowLearn to take that deep breath, or maybe two or three and shift.  It is always your choice to move, just like it was my choice to move away from the man to the open seat across from me.  Make it as easy on yourself as you can, it really is worth it.
